Dr Zonghao Shen
Zonghao joined the group in Feb 2019. Her research interest is focused on the chemical degradation of the cathodes for Lithium ion batteries by using surface analysis techniques, e.g. Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS), Low Energy Ion Scattering (LEIS) etc. and she is now working on the battery degradation project of the Faraday Institute.
Before joining the group, she worked as a research associate in the International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (WPI-I2CNER), Kyushu University, Japan from 2017-2018 and a visiting researcher in IEK-1 Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany in 2018 on the oxygen transport membrane project.
She carried out her postgraduate studies in Imperial College London from 2012-2017 and received her MSc in 2013 and PhD in 2017 under the supervision of Prof. Stephen Skinner and Prof. John Kilner.
